Illinois State Court Judge Webb found Illinois's new gun control laws on so-called 'assault weapons and magazines' to violate the State's Equal Protection laws and, in effect, the 2nd Amendment's right to keep and bear arms.
The judge applied "strict scrutiny" to decide in favor of gun rights plaintiffs against the state's gun control laws.
